SPF

We all know how important it is to wear sunscreen, but how important? SPF stands for sun protection factor which is what protects your skin from UVB and UVA rays from the sun. The number on the bottle refers to the protection against UVB but UVA is what causes skin damage, tanning and aging. It is very important to include SPF into your daily skincare routine to avoid the risks of sun damage. Apply at least 30 SPF daily and 60 if you are going outside, remember you can never have too much!  Antioxidants

Antioxidants protect the skin by reducing free radical production. Free radicals are unstable molecules that damage or “oxidize” cells throughout the body in a process called oxidative stress. Over time, oxidative stress can leave our cells and tissues unable to function properly. Free radicals are believed to cause serious consequences to our health. Antioxidants can be found in the foods you eat as well as some drinks. We recommend Hyvida Sparkling water as an easy on the go antioxidant pick me up! Hyvida contains as much antioxidant as an orange, with a great tasting flavor as well.
